Kerry Clayton

Business Owner

Hi, I’m Kerry! I started my first business Trend Tonic in 2019 from a hospital bed with no start up cost. I started with print on demand and muddled my way through. I have ADHD and hyperfocus and in order to progress I obsessively researched EVERYTHING myself. I coded my first website (big mistake) had about 8 different branding styles and zero strategy. Throughout my years I have learnt so much and put everything helpful into this easy to use work book. At the end of this you should have your own blueprint for your business to succeed. Complete this in bitesize pieces! You eat an elephant one bite at a time or whatever the phrase is! There is a lot of information here please do not overwhelm yourself. This is not a get rich quick strategy but a way to create a brand with a clear message, consistent branding and tools to market on and offline without relying solely on social media. My first year of business my goal was £500 a month and I now run two profitable brands, have a team of 5 and am able to delegate tasks I don’t like and focus on the creative side!

Rebecca Reynolds

Marketing, Website and SEO

My name is Becca, I’m a stay at home mum and freelance digital marketing consultant working with Team Trend Tonic on all things marketing strategy. When I’m not chatting strategy and jewellery with Kerry and the team I’m playing with my toddler and exploring the world with him! I have been working in the digital world for over 15 years and there is nothing that I love more than exploring a new site and looking at how I can help improve the content, the search results and the conversions. Writing content is one of my favourite things to do and I can bore the pants off of most people talking about it! In my time in this world I’ve worked both client and agency side and have experience in a wide range of industries - from insurance, to accountancy and care. There are so many facets to SEO and digital marketing that it would be impossible to cover it all in a course like this, however we wanted to give you a solid understanding of the essentials, in plain English, to help you make the most of the time that you have - to get the best out of your site and your marketing budget, however small.

Email marketing, PR and Admin

Hello! I’m Lou, mum of two a lifetime supporter of all things leopard print. I first got to know Kerry as a customer, I loved both her products and her personality that shone through her brand. After a little while being insta friends we realised we lived really close to each other and got chatting - I LOVE admin and she needed help with that side of the business so she could do what she really loved - designing and making beautiful jewellery. I’ve worked in sales and customer service for over 15 years, and was so excited to use my knowledge to work on email marketing campaigns for Trend Tonic. Through a combination of online courses, pooling our knowledge of the markets and our clients, and a bit of trial and error we have seen our email marketing stays get better and better, ultimately resulting in more sales. With such a heavy focus on social media it’s easy to overlook email marketing as a key tool to your business, but with the information covered in this guide we’re confident you can create your own successful marketing campaigns.
